Meet Brendan Owner/Director of Pathhaven Disability Care.
Brendan James, the driving force behind a distinguished disability support business – Pathhaven Disability Care. With a heartwarming background built on compassion and dedication, Brendan’s journey began during his high school years as an active participant in the “Riding for Disabled” program, where he volunteered his time to support and uplift those in need. Inspired by personal experiences and the arrival of his nephew, who was born with Down syndrome, Brendan embarked on a mission to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Through years of invaluable experience as a support worker, Brendan honed his skills and expertise, ultimately paving the way for the establishment of his own disability support company. His exceptional aptitude for providing care and understanding to individuals facing various challenges, such as behavioural and mental health concerns, ASD, Down syndrome, Huntington’s disease, and non-verbal conditions, sets him apart as a truly empathetic and compassionate professional.
Brendan exudes a positive and approachable demeanor, armed with a “can do” attitude that resonates with both clients and colleagues alike. His profound passion for his work serves as the driving force behind his commitment to empowering individuals to achieve their short-term and long-term goals. Respectful and considerate, Brendan goes the extra mile to ensure his clients receive the highest quality support, tailored to their unique needs and aspirations.
With an impressive array of qualifications and skills, including a Cert 3 in Individual Support, business management, first aid certification, working with children check, criminal check, and Ndis screen check, Brendan leaves no stone unturned in ensuring the safety and welfare of his clients. Demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and professionalism, he has secured all the necessary insurances required to run his business, offering clients the peace of mind they deserve.
